COMMITMENTS

Throughout our journey, we have carefully manoeuvred through the denim industry to create products we can stand behind and a corporate strategy we are proud of: sustainability as our focus and the future as our guide. At Denim Privé, this strategy is executed through responsible production of eco-advanced denim and apparel, often through innovative processes that help the planet and the people on it.

PLANET

WE CARE

FOR THE PLANET planet

As stewards of the planet, Denim Privé commits to improving across a wide range of areas that impact the planet. We are environmentally, water, energy, waste, and chemically conscious.

Leading the Green

Revolution

Emissions are one of the tangible impacts to the earth. We have the first LEED Platinum level manufacturing facility in Pakistan.

Water is the most critical resource in the world. The textile industry is notorious for its water-intensive processes.

Our dying process is so optimised that the majority of process water consumption at our facility is from the washing process. State-of-the-art technology from Jeanologia, Yilmak, Tonello, and Garmon help us maximise the water efficiency of our washing processes as we perfect the ‘modern vintage’ aesthetics of our jeans. YILMAK Rainforest saves 25% more water compared to Silver Liner, and Tonello UP utilises cutting-edge water-conserving technology that uses 22% less water than conventional models.

Clean Energy - Solar

We will be Carbon Neutral by 2030 and 50% carbon neutral by 2027.

Energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) to be low-carbon to avoid climate change…comittment to carbon neutrality…by 2030 by the PAS 2060 standard

Sustainability isn’t possible without thinking about the end of a product in their lifecycle or of the byproducts that occur when making a product. We aim to reduce our waste by keeping them out of landfills and in circulation.

Denim Privé’s dyes and auxiliaries were fully compliant with REACH (2), BluSign, GOTS, and ZDHC v2.0 standards. As of 2021, there have been zero reported incidents of non-compliance related to our product labels' health and safety impacts.
